If you're in Miri, Sarawak and looking for a delightful place to enjoy a casual meal, look no further than Feng Mei Yuan Cafe. This charming café is a haven for noodle lovers, particularly those with a penchant for local Malaysian dishes.

Step inside this family-run establishment and you'll immediately feel a warm and welcoming ambiance that evokes nostalgia, reminiscent of a cozy 70s kopitiam. The rustic decor and the comforting buzz of casual conversation set the perfect backdrop for a leisurely meal with friends or family. It's a place where time slows down, inviting you to savor every bite.

The highlight of Feng Mei Yuan Cafe is, without a doubt, its menu, which features an array of traditional noodles. Diners rave about the Kolo Mee – a must-try for anyone yearning for a taste of home-cooked goodness. Pair it with the braised chicken feet and braised egg, both highly recommended by patrons for their rich flavors and tender textures. If you’re there on a Saturday, make sure to indulge in the Laksa, while Mondays promise a delightful chicken leg dish. Don’t forget to sample the Wan Ton Mee as well – it’s a favorite among regulars.

Customers like Jenny Elizabeth Lu appreciate not just the food, but the generous portions offered at such reasonable prices, typically around RM5 to RM10 for a satisfying meal. Jeremy Goh highlights the rotating menu offerings, ensuring that there’s always a treat waiting for you on your next visit. Linda Liew echoes this sentiment, urging both locals and non-locals alike to experience the delicious flavors that Feng Mei Yuan has to offer.

While the café may operate on a self-service model, with guests ordering and paying directly at the counter, this adds to its charm. As Kristian Kho notes, the busy auntie behind the counter is always ready to help, making the whole experience feel like a visit to a friend's home rather than a typical dining out scenario.

Whether you're looking for a comforting breakfast or a laid-back lunch, Feng Mei Yuan Cafe is not to be missed. With its authentic dishes, friendly atmosphere, and unbeatable prices, this little gem in Miri promises a delicious experience that will leave you coming back for more.

Great place to have your casual breakfast, the place feels Rustic and homey with the 70's feel on it. You'll have to order and pay the food by yourself though, there's no wait staff except an auntie who is always busy.

A quiet place and quite hidden but love their noodles here! The noodles were a lot and worth the price too! Worth to try as there were many parking spaces, ample space and lovely portion of noodles.

Went there for breakfast today, pretty authentic kolo mee and you can have other types of noodles also. Reminded me of what we used to go at my ‘kampung’. Will go again.
